END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

Wacana Type License Agreement

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) constitutes a legally binding agreement between you (as an individual or legal entity) and Wacana Type regarding the licensing and use of the digital font software provided under this Agreement.

Use of the font software is permitted only under the terms and conditions set forth herein.

1. License Agreement

Thank you for choosing Wacana Type. We appreciate your support and trust in our work.

This End User License Agreement is a legally binding contract between you (as an individual or legal entity) and Wacana Type governing the use of our font software.

When you acquire a typeface, it is treated as software and licensed under this Agreement. Purchasing a font grants limited usage rights — not ownership of the intellectual property.

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using the font software, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.

Failure to comply with this Agreement constitutes a breach of contract and may result in termination of your license rights.

If you pay for, download, install, or use our digital fonts, you agree to this Agreement.

If you do not agree, do not purchase, access, download, install, or use the font software.

Font software is licensed — not sold.

2. Licensing Model

Wacana Type grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the font software according to the license category you purchase.

Licenses are structured based on usage type and company size. The total number of employees within the licensed organization determines pricing.

Unlike some licensing systems, we do not calculate fees based on:

  • Number of designers
  • Number of font users

The determining factor is the total workforce of the licensed company or client.

Licensing categories include use across various media platforms.

Licensing Options:

  • Print & Social Media
  • Website
  • Logo
  • Application
  • Server
  • Video
  • Corporate

3. Company Size

Font files (OTF, TTF, WOFF, WOFF2) may not be transferred, shared, or redistributed outside the licensed entity.

Licensing tiers are determined strictly by the total number of employees within the organization, not by department or number of designers.

(S) Small License
For freelancers or small studios with 1–4 members.
Font files may not be shared with clients unless the client purchases their own license.

(M) Medium License
For organizations with 5–35 members.
The license must be purchased under the company name and may be used internally by members of that organization.

(L) Large License
For organizations with 36–99 members.
Applies to the entire company regardless of how many designers use the font.

(XL) Extra Large License
For organizations with 100+ members or unlimited internal users under one legal entity.

We base our pricing on the total number of people working for the company — not by number of font users.

Font files cannot be shared outside the licensed entity.

4. Buying Fonts for a Client

Designers and agencies may purchase licenses on behalf of clients.

In such cases, the client must be listed as the license holder. The client is responsible for compliance with this Agreement.

Licenses are non-transferable unless explicitly stated in writing.

Client must be the license holder.

License is non-transferable.

5. Trial Fonts

Trial fonts are provided for evaluation purposes only.

You may use them for mockups, internal presentations, client previews, academic work, and testing environments.

Commercial publication, distribution, or monetized use is not permitted without purchasing an appropriate license.

Trial use only.
No commercial distribution.
Purchase required for public or paid use.

6. Copyright & Trademark

All font software and intellectual property rights remain the exclusive property of Wacana Type.

Purchasing a license does not transfer ownership. You may not resell, sublicense, modify for resale, reverse engineer, or redistribute the font software.

All rights not expressly granted remain reserved.

Fonts remain property of Wacana Type.

License grants usage rights — not ownership.

7. Compatibility & Usage

Fonts are delivered in OpenType (.otf) format and may also include TrueType (.ttf) and Webfont formats (WOFF, WOFF2) where applicable.

While we test font files for installability and print reliability, OpenType feature support depends on operating systems, software, and browsers.

Users are responsible for verifying compatibility within their production environment.

OpenType support depends on system and software.

Compatibility may vary by environment.

8. Warranty & Disclaimer

The font software is provided “as is.”

Wacana Type makes no warranties, expressed or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a specific purpose.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free performance.

Wacana Type is not liable for damages resulting from misuse or improper implementation of the font software.

9. Refund Policy

All font purchases are final and non-refundable.
