Wacana Type is an independent type foundry based in Jepara, Indonesia. We focus on designing, developing, and publishing retail and custom typefaces with a strong emphasis on character, usability, and long-term typographic systems.

Our work ranges from expressive display fonts to structured text families, built with thoughtful construction, refined details, extensive language support, and carefully engineered OpenType features.
